Features of KOZ cable blocks:

Increasingly, electric installations have to comply with stricter requirements. In the case of a short circuit, mechanical forces will be released which may have enormous consequences. There are a number of considerations to be made before selecting the type of cleat for a specific application. Environmental considerations include chemical resistance, operating temperature range and UV-resistance. Mechanical considerations include the size, strength and safety regulations. New generations of cables with synthetic sheaths make specific demands on the installation-material. The most suitable products are therefore those which may be used in a wide scope both indoor and outdoor, and which will satisfy your expectations with regard to their properties and quality. The company KOZ Products, b.v. with its head office in the Netherlands has introduced a series of new synthetic cable blocks and is serving users in more than 20 countries worldwide. The cable cleats are manufactured from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide and they are designed for the securing of single-core and multi-core cables with diameters of 18 to 100 mm. They are designed for use with cables of all voltages. These cable blocks can secure the cables in a single or a so-called trefoil configuration. Our synthetic blocks make easy installation possible of three or four or multiple cables side-by-side or in layers one upon the other. The mechanical strength of the nylon KOZ cleats is tested in the Netherlands by the testing institute KEMA with the help of TUV calibrated machines. Copies of KEMA test results will be sent to customers on demand. Contact James Murray Supply if required. The combination of the design and CSA/UL-listed raw materials resulted in the fact that KOZ products are the strongest cleats available worldwide. The unique advantage is that KOZ standard cleats may be assembled one upon the other. Thanks to the balanced width of the cable cleats they provide a controlled surface pressure on the cables. Non-halogen KOZ cable cleats are manufactured in accordance with IAO 9002, meet the standard NEN-EN 60204-1 and carry the selective marking CE. KOZ products do not contain any lead and cadmium, they are fire resistant and resistant to UV-radiation and are suitable for extensive indoor and outdoor use. They meet the standards of fire resistance VDE 0304, Part 3, Class IIA and they are resistive against alkali substances, benzene, engine fuels, ozone etc. The strength of the cleats remains unchanged in the working temperatures from -40 to +135C and short high temperatures up to +210C.
